O/T-Owners of Michael Kors jet set monogram grayson stachel handbag?

I am lemming the nickel color ( shiney gunmetal ) but I have been reading that this bag has some batches where the finish on the bag fades and cracks? Has anyone here who owns this bag experienced anything like this or any problems for that matter. I'm not all that hard on my bags but it's a problem from a defect in my opinion rather then rough treatment from comsumers. I would really, really appreciate any input on this! Thanks so, so much!!!
