I'm hoping someone can help with this. My husband bought an HP computer here last Nov (warranty is up of course) we have the lifetime Trend Micros that came with the computer installed, which is said to be the best. A few weeks ago he started noticing that certain words on a web site would be highlighted in blue. After talking to a friend he discovered it was a virus. He thinks it may have happened when he clicked through on a video posted on a friends facebook page. Now he can't log onto the internet at all. We have tried calling Trend Micros, no help. We called HP and of course the nice man in India wanted to charge him $200 just to "take a look", no thanks. This morning he was looking at his email on my daughters laptop and it looks like the same thing is happening on her's as well, so maybe the virus is in his email??? Anyone who is tech smart have any suggestions???
