O/T. Anyone Ever Have A Parathyroid scan?

I am scheduled to have one in 2 weeks and don't really feel like going through this. Dr said it will last 2.5 hours, what can they do for that length of time? I have parathyroid nodules and , vitamin C levels high, Vitamin D levels high. Does it hurt or uncomfortable at all, I am such a baby when. It comes to stuff like this. Thanks for any info . I hope they put me out.
