Not Breaking the Skincare Bank

We've been fortunate; money isn't necessarily the tightest, but I find it challenging in not using expensive skincare, but still get fabulous results! (Pet peeve = skincare that is overpriced anyway, especially when they all use relatively simple ingredients!)

For instance, the best moisturizer I've ever designed was the aloe + drops of oil.

But the other week I used up all my a.m. glycolic cleanser and just didn't get the chance to replace it. I substituted w/ fine table sugar. That is a great morning cleanser! I can dissolve the sugar as much as I need to, or leave it grainy for surface exfoliation. Same concept as the powdered milk (only I don't care for the smell.)

Same w/ using my lip color for my blush! Love the look of tonal color!

What are you doing to not break the bank for skincare/cosmetics?
