Yesterday I ordered the OUAI fine shampoo for a friend and wanted it delivered to her home.  I found out that there is a new policy with Nordstrom.  You cannot buy one item and have it delivered to someone else; however, you can buy yourself something in addition to the gift and pace the items.  Either business is down or postal rates are too high.  What do you think?

I don't understand.  Are you saying it is no longer possible to order a gift delivery from Nordstrom?  That is odd.

And what does "pace the items" mean?

@Isobel Archer  @Katcat1  Nordstrom and most other stores send gfts. It's no different than sending it to your house...just a different address as far as shipping cost...which is none at Nordstrom. I'd check again with CS. I think someone gave you the wrong info.

@Shanus  Thanks.  Yes I've certainly ordered gifts delivered from Nordstrom in the past - even at Christmas.  So if this is new, I hadn't heard about it.

@Isobel Archer   Yes and when stores are having bad times, don't offer less services!

@Shanus    This happened to me last night and I went on Chat at Nordstrom and I was told I could not send out one gift to a different address but I had to buy something for myself (anything) and have it delivered to me.  I was told Pace was selecting where you want the two transactions to go.  I will try again and see what happens.

@Katcat1   I believe you...just not sure some CHATS are accurate and you need to speak to an actual customer service rep.

@Shanus   I can't believe some idiot would make up a new policy. They should be fired.  She was able to cancel the order so she was a legetimate.  I just ordered my gift and everything was ok.  I wanted to surprise my BFF so I wanted it delivered to her home.

@Isobel Archer   I am not sure why this person last night told me that story because I just ordered the same exact thing as a gift and had it delivered to my BFF's home with no problems.

@Katcat1   So happy it worked out and your friend can receive her gift. So many times, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.
