I was admitted to the hospital last Sunday night. Was discharged home today. Spent the entire time without makeup and without blow drying my hair or using product in it. I took a shower then let it air dry. Just fluffed with my fingers as it dried. And it looked fine. Such a feeling of freedom not to fuss with my face or hair. I kind of want to keep that going. Well I for sure need eyebrows but other than that? Might just stay "natural" for awhile.

So sorry you had to go to the hospital, I hope all is well. Nothing wrong with going natural...do whatever makes you happy...enjoy life!.. Take Care.

Glad you're home and better! Wishing you continued improvement. Everybody should try the natural look....and wear bad, comfortable "house " clothes sometimes....i value comfort!

Oh no ! Glad you're well enough to be discharged, @smoochy I'll have days here and there where I don't bother with anything, but I don't think I could go five days. I'd give up makeup before skincare, if I had to make a choice. Well, maybe just keep some mascara and colored lip balm. I hope whatever is going in can be remedied and you'll be as good as new very soon.

@smoochy Wishing you the very best, hope you are feeling better. Liberating isn't it? I started working from home a dozen years ago and have not bothered with make-up unless heading out of the house. Same with the hair most days! Amazing how soon I got used to not scaring myself when I look in the mirror!

@Desertdi So funny!!! Years ago I had electrolysis when my hairs were dark. Many treatments and great for decades. Then had some more chin hairs done w/ lasers.
Now the chin hairs are popping up, but difficult to difficult to destroy when they're grey or light.
Oh well, I can tweeze them in a very high magnifying mirror.
