No Makeup Makeup

[ Edited ]

Hi Beauties!  Have any of you tried the No Makeup Makeup?  I've always wanted to find a replacement for the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact but never have.

If you've tried it please share your feedback. Thanks!

@SurferWife , I  purchased it the last time it was a TSV.   I'm not very impressed.  I kept it and wear it when I'm home, walking the dog or running errands.  I don't wear it when I'm meeting with friends, etc. as for me the name "No Makeup" is correct.  When I'm wearing it my face almost looks the same as when I'm not wearing any makeup.....meaning all of my flaws are still showing.

@BunSnoop

Thanks for that feedback.  Sounds like it's a no-go for me.

I love the No Make Up makeup. I have to say, I don't have a lot of imperfections. I have two small red spots on my nose and a couple broken blood vessels on either side of my nose. I just hit them with a little concealor, wait a minute or two, and use the makeup.

 It covers really well and looks so natural! You can always go over your trouble spots for extra coverage.

  The only other foundation I liked this much was the original Bobbi Brown liquid foundation. I'm not so crazy about her new line.

  Hope this helps.😊

Hi @SurferWife ! I really like this. I still like my Laura Geller Balance and Glow, but I was intrigued by this so I added it to my rotation. I put it on very lightly, using the 3 tap method and brushing it all over my face without using any more. I use it over sunscreen only, without a primer. I wear Light.

 I spray Kosas Cloud Set Mist over my face, and this foundation stays on. I have really bad allergies. When I take a Kleenex and dab my watering eyes, it does not come off on the Kleenex! I plan to get more when I run out!   Smiley Happy

@SurferWife  -  I ordered it, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.  You should try it.  There are a lot of posters that love it.

I still use BE for my "foundation".  I do not like the feel of anything on my face.  I have combo skin and this NOMAKEUP looks to be greasy.  Not to mention the price...Not for me.

@SurferWife  -  I went ahead and tried it.  I should have tried it before the 30 days was up.  I normally order a Medium shade in everything.  This Medium is too dark for me.  I'm going to have to toss it.  What a waste.  Smiley Sad

It's like a cream consistency in the compact.  I thought it was going to be more of a powder.  It does have good coverage though.   I applied it with a stippling motion and then buffed it in.  I tried the puff that came with it.  That didn't work out too well.

Nothing I can do about the shade.  It's in the trash.  Darn.

@San Antonio Gal

That's a real bummer.  Buying foundation online is always a gamble, unless you've already been shade-matched.  I've done that, too.  Now I try it on in the store first, although I don't think this brand is sold in stores.  Maybe if you have a lighter foudation color you can mix them to try to get some use out of it, or use it as a bronzer since it is too dark as a foundation.
