Seems to be a trend. I have seen it. I think it looks awful. We are becoming doll people. Between all the plastic surgery and now very colorful hair, we are becoming very cartoonish.

Yep. Just saw a woman in Denny's Saturday morning. Black hair and then halfway down her back in turned a very vivid blue

This has been going on since the dawn of punk rock. It's really nothing new.

My stepdaughter (34) has shaved the side of her head, and her long dark brown hair is colored half bright red. My niece (20) just colored her punky hair blue. My hairdresser (30s) also has one side of her head shaved and she draws leopard spots on it.

Who knows why these women do what they do? As far as the OP's post, I much prefer Nicole with the long blonde lockes than the short, severe style she's wearing now.

Add Katie Perry to the list of blue/green/pink haired celebrities. I see it all the time among local middle school students, but I don't see very many adults around here sporting those bold hues.

I actually don't mind the colorful hair.In my younger days I had all colors of hair and my sister rocked a huge Mohawk that she dyed various colors. Of course it was punk and very in back then. It's just hair and its fun.When it stops being fun or working for her,she will change it. I really like her vibe and her presentations on Q ...though few and far between.
