I have been on Auto Delivery since 2007 for Nick Chavez Plump N Thick Hairspray.  I have recently been on backorder for this product for the past 3 months.  HOWEVER, I have noticed it being sold for a much higher price under item A622868.  How is it available when I have been on auto ship for years.  I feel someone should look into this.  I have contacted Nick Chavez Co directly and was informed that the product would be coming back and has not been discontinued.  So I am assuming my auto ship would be filled before offering under another product #.

As you may know, Nick passed away last year.  Understandably, his company is experiencing some bumps (I have been unable to get Soft Flocker even trying to buy directly from the brand website).  I sometimes purchase my favorites directly from the Chavez website and notice that there are quite a few items that have been shown as sold out for a while.  I do not know if this means these items are just sold out and will be restocked or if they are never coming back. The Plump N Thick Hairspray seems to be one of these limbo items because it has been shown as being out of stock on the brand website for quite a while.

I don't know if this is a new policy or not. I've had this situation happen with a food item and a Philosopy Purity item. When "stock" became available it was then priced at the higher price for the remainder of the refills.

@Sarge1   so sorry to hear this.  I had a similar situation regarding an auto delivery I'd been on for a philosophy product.  I never did receive mine even though stock was available under a new item number.  I hope you have better luck.

I have been on auto delivery for Nick Chavez volumizing hair spray since 1999. There was a long period of time that I did not recieve it. I got notices that it was on back order. to my surprise, I started receiving it again at the original price. I see that the price now is over $20 more, but I do get it for the 1999 price. 

I ran out of my 2 favorite Nick Chavez products, Soft Flocker and Plump N' Thick leave in conditioner. I contacted the company a while back and they said they were trying to get them back in stock. To my surprise, I found them again on QVC. 

Hang in there, perhaps you will get your products. I am so sorry about Nick's death. I hope the family can continue to bring back his line of products. 

When I ran out of my products, I could not find any that worked quite like Nick's products.

Same with me. Amazon didn't have his one item I needed.

In Jan. QVC brings out the beauty shows.  Hope his is on.

I am not on auto-delivery but this is my fave hairspray. I was shocked to the new pricing on QVC! May have to give it up at that price... almost 40 bucks a can.

Congrats to those, who have had the dinosaur long standing auto ship plans. Back in the day, QVC was much better about this and they could extend indefinitely. Nowadays, it's the initial shipment and maybe a few more, if one is lucky, but most of the time it's only one or two more additional shipments on plans. I'm wondering if QVC is looking at the hit they are taking between the old price and the current price, phasing out the old plans "because they couldn't fulfill the orders", wait a little bit, then offer the plans again at an updated price?  Just thinking, 🤔

I know, I was on auto ship for gingerbread man for about $18 once per year. 32 oz. Email a few years ago auto delivery cancelled. Then out at the higher price. I don’t want to jinx it but I have one auto delivery from a long long time ago. 2007 maybe. Way cheaper than todays orice
