That's probably the flush that it can cause. It should be only for minute or so, and it's harmless.
If you have any other reaction or if it doesn't go away, that's another story.
Oh yikes good know! I have a few samples that came with my orders and would have freaked out if I got that reaction! So that is normal?
I noticed that my checks were a little red after my second or third use but didn't think too much about it because I had heard that niacinamide can cause flushing. However, one morning I work up and my cheeks stayed bright red and warm.
I stopped using the product, and the color and temp returned to normal in a couple of days. I will contact cs about it. I may need to use it only once or twice a week.

It is possible, @HappyDaze, which is why NIA24, which uses a very similar ingredient, mentions the possibility for some individuals on their FAQs page.
I don't see any mention of this, though, in the reviews on PC's site. So that's encouraging.
Slightly O/T: One time my husband accidentally (yeah, right) gave me one of his niacin tablets instead of aspirin. Now we're talking serious flushing and burning. Until he figured out what he'd done, I thought I was going to die. :-) But that's niacin.
oh geeze!!! yikes!

@ElvisShops and @suzyQ3 thanks for the information (warning?)!
I think when I try my samples, I will start off using it every few days and see how it goes. If no reaction, I will try every day.
Are you guys (assuming @suzyQ3 you are using/trying it too?) mixing it with other serums or??

I didn't mix mine with anything. I will probably try using this every few days, beginning next week.

@HappyDaze, no, I don't use it and have no plans to do so. It's just not something I think I need to add to the mix.

Just checked. Skinn Age Reset has Niacinimide fairly high in the ingredient list, and Creme Reverse has it too, but a bit farther down. HTH anyone who already uses that line.

I had to return the PC product. I let my skin rest a while until all the red was gone and then tried again. Nope. My skin still reacted badly. However, I have never had any issues with products that contain niacinamide, even at the top of the ingredient list. I guess 10% is just doo much for me.
BTW, I have used the Skinn products the poster above mentioned without any issues.

Just checked Isomers Retiniacin product I use nightly, Niacinamide is a third ingredient from the top, and Retinol - seventh.
From the day I started it, there was never any problems. No burning, redness or irritation, not even slightest discomfort. I also never even heard of irritated skin from using Retiniacin from anyone on Isomers Face Book group.

Do you have any idea what the retinol percentage is? I have used retin a for a 100 years (small exaggeration, LOL) and have never had any trouble with it or similiar at any concentration.
