Re: Niacinamide. I'm a believer.

Can someone tell me the price of the niacinamide booster?  Since its out of stock I can't see a price.  I need to send back my AHA products since they cause me to break out and would like to do an exchange.  I am goi g to purchase the BHA duo TSV so I don't want to exchange for a BHA product.  However, I know that I have been successful with niacinamide in other brands and this booster would be great to try.

thanks to anyone that knows the cost of the Niacinimide booster!

Re: Niacinamide. I'm a believer.

Thanks for the review. I just received mine. Tonight will be my second time to use it. I never, ever get the great results that I see in reviews for any line of products. However, I am hopeful. Smiley Happy

I used mine a few days and my cheeks got really, really red and warm.  Smiley Sad

That's probably the flush that it can cause. It should be only for minute or so, and it's harmless.

If you have any other reaction or if it doesn't go away, that's another story.

Re: Niacinamide. I'm a believer.

Isomers for many years already has a product -  Retiniacin. It is Retinol and Niancin (or niacinamide, don't remember).

Retianicin combines these two products together, has some B vitamins, and is a safe form of retinol, does not cause any redness, peeling, or any need to gradually get used to it.  At least for vast majority of users, that I know of, there is no redness or irritation with using the retinol from Retiniacin product. I have not read any reviews suggesting otherwise.

Oh yikes good know! I have a few samples that came with my orders and would have freaked out if I got that reaction! So that is normal?

Niacinamide is in a few of the products I use. It's high up on the ingredient deck of at least one of them I think. Lots of people really like it. I've even heard it can help prevent breakouts. A great ingredient. Highly recommend.

It is possible, @HappyDaze, which is why NIA24, which uses a very similar ingredient, mentions the possibility for some individuals on their FAQs page.

I don't see any mention of this, though, in the reviews on PC's site. So that's encouraging.

Slightly O/T: One time my husband accidentally (yeah, right) gave me one of his niacin tablets instead of aspirin. Now we're talking serious flushing and burning. Until he figured out what he'd done, I thought I was going to die. :-) But that's niacin.
