This reminds me that one of the palettes I decluttered is Blue Moon from Colourpop.  It has a deep blue that is a 99% dupe for the BB shadow.  It's the one in the lower left corner.   See?  This is what I was talking about when I said there is at least one color in every palette I'll miss.

Do you like colorful eyeshadows?  Angelica Nyqvist does full faces of makeup but her focus on on eyeshadow.

Tati...I just had to give Tati my first thumbs down today.  I'm not a fan of this trend of beauty YTers doing "Amazon hauls".  It would be one thing if they stuck to beauty from Amazon but they're not.  Tati is such a sweet person, I actually felt bad (and still do) giving her a thumbs down.

Julia Adams MUA.  She's another one responsible for spending DH's money lol  I enjoy her Canadian self!  She doesn't replace Mel but her demeanor and style are very pleasant. 

James Welsh.  He's changed too tho.  I'm glad I discovered him when I did.  He is responsible for my skincare journey and I'll be forever grateful.

Honestly, I don't spend as much time with these ladies as I used to while I was building my makeup empire (g)  I'm back to my true loves of dogs and luxury real-estate.  Did you ever watch (on tv) Million Dollar Listing NY (or LA)?  Ryan Serhant's YT channel is million-dollar listings from all over the country.

@monicakm  How has James Welsh changed? I recently started watching him, so I probably haven't noticed any difference. 

I would add Nikki La Rose to the list of Youtubers I like. However, I don't watch as many as you do. or did.

He used to "teach" more than he does now.  He's also big into Tiktok and the silliness that can bring to his YT channel.  Also celebs are part of his programming.  Scroll way down to a couple of years ago if you want true skincare advice.

@monicakm   The Blue Moon palette is so pretty and that color is spot on for the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow-great eye!  Thank you for the list of all of the Youtubers you like- I've seen a few of them and some are brand new to me so it'll be a lot of fun to look at all of their videos.  I think all of those youtubers would be overjoyed to be your bestie!! Think of all the fun they'd have with you and all of your makeup looks and beauty tips- they could learn new things from you .

    Mel Thompson's passing really saddened me- she was such a bright light and so creative, but depression can be all comsuming and maybe she didn't see the light at the end of the tunnel for her struggle at the time.  Heaven got even more glamorous with the addition of her- she was such a dearheart and I do miss her videos.  

   I'll have to check out Ryan's channel- I have seen a few clips of Million Dollar listings and it seems like a really fun show!

I forgot to tell you that my grandson has one eye that is half blue and half green. I asked a person at the driver's license office what color he would indicate on his driver's license. She said either color.  I'm sure he put blue since that's the majority of his eye color.

I just called to ask him if one of his eyes are still part green and he said yes but some days it's more vibrant than others. It probably has something to do with what color shirt he's wearing that day.

And one more thing, I don't know how old you are but I'm guessing fairly young since you're training for the police academy. I don't watch "age appropriate" YouTubers.  I'm 64 and 95% of my girls are in their 30s, and some in their twenties and maybe a few in there 40s but mostly 30s.  Mel Thompson would most definitely be the beauty YouTuber that I mostly resemble in my makeup application. The main difference between the two of us is the amount of powder she uses. I miss her so much.

@monicakm  Wow- your grandson must have really nice eyes! That's such a rare and unique trait to have eyes that are different colors from one another :smileyhappy.  

I'm going to be 35 in October so I definitely hope to get further in the police academy process by my birthday.  I'm definitely older than most police academy hopefuls- most of them are fresh out of highschool or mid-20's, I'm proudly representing the mid-30's police hopefuls though .   You look lovely and your makeup looks great in your profile photo- the Youtubers can learn from your skills and techniques.   I think that 64 is definitely young!  I like to look at Youtubers of all age ranges and also likefashion youtubers too.  I sometimes look up the 20 something youtube makeup gurus to see trendy new hairstyles or makeup looks that I'll never have time to do, but love to see.  Mel Thompson was so great- I think its a blessing that her channel is still up because I learn new things each time i rewatch her videos.
