I just got the new Ulta flyer and there was a sample of this to smell.  It's a nice soft scent.  I may have to take a ride to Ulta to sample it.  Has anyone tried this yet?

I actually posted about this new fragrance a few weeks ago and I ended up buying it from Ulta. I like it, to me it has a faint rose smell which is nice and I usually prefer only clean smelling fragrances like Amazing grace. I still love amazing grace but I only buy it retail and not from QVC because IMO it's the original amazing grace scent and last longer.

I ordered it from Macy's.  It will be here soon.  I notice they also have it in a shower gel and body lotion/emulsion.    I hope I like it.

There are two new philosophy Rose scents. The one at Ulta is Amazing Grace ballet rose and the one at Macys is Pure Grace nude rose.

I have tried both.

The Ulta ballet rose is a floral...a more 'true' rose. Not much Amazing Grace that I could detect.

The Macys nude rose is cleaner and closer to pure grace. I don't detect much rose..maybe pure grace and floral. It is softer.

I don't think the Ulta version would be for you unless you really like Rose, which I do.

Ballet Rose is dressier, the Nude Rose could be worn any time. Of the two I prefer Nude Rose as it seems more universally appealing.

I don't like rose scented fragrances. I got a chance to smell this in Macys, it's not for me.

I was curious about this scent as I love both Amazing and Pure Grace so I took the 2 hour ride to the closest Ulta.  Extremely disappointed with the Amazing Grace version.  All I smelled was the rose scent...no detectable Amazing Grace at all.  Unfortunately I don't have a Macy's within 400 miles..

I have the body wash and lotion that I got at Ulta, and I love both.   Had used them yesterday and went shopping...was stopped by a woman who wanted to know what I was wearing!   I always take that as a compliment.

The scent is available in a small .5 spray ($18.00) I think. I agree with you that the Ulta scent is 'rose'. I think Macys has free shipping on beauty but I don't know about returns. The Macys version is much more Pure Grace than the Ulta one is Amazing Grace...in my opinion.

I am sorry you had to ride 2 hours to try the Ulta version. Disappointing.
