Should be a lesson in patience Smiley Surprised

Placed an order with BH Cosmetics that was confirmed on the 11th and to arrive on the 15th.  It's the 19th and it's in Dallas (65 miles away).  No estimated delivery date.  Really?

Ulta is making me wait the full delivery time.  I usually get things a day before it's arrival date (in this case today).

I don't think the Ulta company is making you wait.

Delivery everywhere has broken down, unfortunately.

@ECBG

WELL IT FEELS LIKE IT! lol

My husband said he heard on the news that

makeup is going to be harder to come by in the

coming months Smiley Surprised  I messed up and said "well it's a

good thing I have enough to last a couple of life times".

Then later said "I better place an order before it's too late".

"No, you just said you had enough for two lifetimes".  NOW

he's listening :/

I placed an order on August 31 for Hay & Harvest Candle Pillar w/Flameless Candle (Pinecone) - it was on Advanced Order to ship the week of September 13, here we are October 19 (over a month later) and it hasn't even processed yet. UGH!!!

I've learned my lesson I will NOT order anything that's on Advanced Order.

There have been reports on the news for weeks now about all the delays at the ports, shortage of workers to unload the ships, not enough workers to transfer goods to the trucks, shortage of truck drivers.

It goes on and on.  They spoke to several business owners (local and national) who all said that the stock they have, is the stock they will have.

One owner said that he was expecting stock before December and now has been told it will be February 2022.

Anyone who thinks this is going to be over anytime soon is going to be sadly disappointed.

@monicakm

In my experience,  men have a memory of about 3 seconds.

They put laundry in the washer

  We add soap and turn on the washer.

We put the washed clothes in the dryer.

We fold the laundry.

ME:  I folded your laundry.

DS:  What laundry???????

@monicakm , yes I have noticed that if my order goes to UPS for Surepost delivery it sits as UPS until the day before my estimated arrival date.

lEaRe: New Mail Delivery Times

Well at least it was just makeup, you will live an extra day.

My Mom gets her meds by mail and hasn't been delivered yet and she's almost out.

Mail delivery is much slower these days and I can't see it's going to improve any time soon.

Enjoy your ULTA order when it does finally arrive.

@Catsrule

I hope your mom's meds make it on time!

My makeup from Ulta is actually in my mailbox.

I've just been too lazy, uh, I mean busy, to go get it.

Guess I'll go get it now.

Got it.  Swatched it.  Love it!

Have my Christmas eye look already nailed Smiley Happy

"Red" has a hair more pink in it than I would like but

that makes it doable for both Christmas and everyday.

Off to do a couple more chores and have a glass

of cold brew with Pumpkin Spice creamer (so much

better than Starbucks)
