Re: New LONDONTOWN Nail Veil

I wonder what makes a nail polish worth $11 something dollars.

Can anyone tell me what is so much better about this than Sally Hanson for example?

Thanks, @SnowOwl. I got their last three piece set with the corrector, polish and cuticle oil. Just love it. The cuticle oil is the best I've had and easy to apply.

@on the bay      Beats me!  I get at least 10 days out of Sally H or Revlon.   di

These aren't polish, they're a Nail Veil.

I can only speak for myself about what I'll spend for nail products. I rarely pay full price for any polish. If I really wanted a certain color I would, but that's rare. There's a very few brands I wouldn't pay more than $2 for, because they only last a day or two before chipping or looking bad. I can usually get a few days from Sally Hansen before needing to change it.

I'll spend $11 for LONDONTOWN Nail Veil because the colors are pretty and it does what I need; a week to ten days wear, no base or top coat needed. Fast, easy, and gorgeous.

I'd pay $11 for their polish as well. The formulas are easy to work with and the colors are beautiful. If I see an inexpensive polish I want, I'd get it, too. I wear them all.

@febe1  their cuticle oil is great! The cuticle gel is good, too, but the pen dispenser needs work. I'd rather it come in a tube.

This is the set you got? It sold out during the Deal Drop. I'm going to do my manicure today or tomorrow and try out the Quartz Concealer. I ended up with three bottles of the original white, all came from sets. I'm working on my second one now. I'm excited to try out the new nail veil colors.

Well good for you, I don't. Like makeup, polish wears differently for everyone. You use what works for you, I use what works for me. Nobody is asking you to spend $11 on polish, spend what you can afford.

Re: New LONDONTOWN Nail Veil

I have a lot to complain about but not my nails.  They grow fast and I don't have any problems with them.  I bought a 3 piece set Pur perfecting nail veil in white and nudes and loved the natural but polished look. I kept it on my nails for about a month taking it off every 4-5 days and reapplying it.  I thought it was great but it has ruined my nails.  They are peeling and snagging.  I have cut them as short as I can and I am sure they will get back to normal.  When my nails get back to normal I may occasionally use it but not consistently.

Re: New LONDONTOWN Nail Veil

@SnowOwl79 I have several of their Nail Veils and Nail Concealer and am very happy with both.  This one looks really pretty.  There is one review about how light the color is and how many coats she had to put on and returned it.  I guess she didn't realize it was a veil of color different from a nail polish.  I also love their cuticle oil that came with the other set.  My nails have never looked better using this brand.  Did you order this new set?
