I checked this out at Sephora's website and it states you must be a VIB Rouge to purchase. I would never spend enough to qualify for that, so guess I couldn't buy this if I wanted. Are they not making enough of these to offer to everyone?

I just bought it! I love Hourglass and these blushes are gorgeous for Fall/Winter. BTW VIB Rouge usually gets first dibs, so I wouldn't be worried about not getting one once it's available to everyone. However, I have seen items sell out super fast and on backorder for months.

I have this one called Diffused Heat (vibrant poppy). I would not describe it as shimmery - nothing like Tarte or Laura Geller - but gives a beautiful glow.

Sometimes Sephora will test the waters for the hype surrounding a new release by making it a VIB Rouge exclusive, but usually the products that they do this with are released to the general public a few weeks to a month later (I say usually because there have been one or two products that I've seen that have remained exclusive to VIBR, Marc Jacobs stuff in particular).

If you have a Nordstrom card, the way they give cardholders first dibs during the anniversary sale is pretty much the same kind of thing.

I guess it's kind of a good thing, for this palette at least, that even VIBR members can't buy it in stores yet, so the likelihood of it selling out before its public debut on October 1st is quite slim and you'll be able to grab it as soon as it's released

That's good to know. It is so tempting, although I have enough Everyday Minerals, Laura Geller, and Tarte blushes to probably last the rest of my life. LOL! But all of these colors are beautiful and ones that I wear, so I may take a look at it at Sephora and read the reviews when it comes out.

I have been wanting to try the brand for quite some time now, but I wasn't sure what to buy.

This kind of answers that question for me. It's a beautiful palette of wearable colors.
