New Fenty lip product - love it

Anyone that reads me in the beauty forum knows I am a lipstick addict. You would also know that I only have a makeup pouch - not a drawer, hence I wear very little. The majority of the space is taken up by my lipsticks.

Got an ulta gift card for xmas that I haven't used. Lately, haven't needed anything. Well, wouldn't you know it I got an ad email from Fenty for the new gloss bomb lipstick/gloss combo. It's a lipstick tube which I like. I keep it in my pants pocket and just smear lip stuff on when I need to. The gloss style is hard for me to do that with a wand.

So I bought it at Ulta and I love it. Very good color payoff, good shine but not that drippy wet look, and a hint of shimmer (which I stay away from) that is barely noticeable. I would buy it again maybe with another gift card, because it's more than I usually pay for a lip product ($25). Perfect color - a light rosy mauve pink called "Fussy" (see pic).

@bmorechick That really is a beautiful color; it's exactly the shade I like to wear and always search for.

I don't care to pay $25 for a lipstick, but it sounds like the product is well worth it. I can't tell you how many times I buy cheaper brands and then toss them because I don't like the color or texture once I get them home!

@Citrine1 Yes, I typically stick to same color pallet too. Last year, I tossed about a dozen of "tried and failed" lipsticks. I am leaning more toward a gloss but sometimes the color payoff isn't enough and this one is perfect for me! If you try it, I hope you like it 🙂

@bmorechick Thanks, I wasn't aware of it in a stick form. I'll have to see about getting one if they have it in RiRi.

For comparison, I have the wand version in both Fussy and RiRi. The RiRi is more blue-based vs Fussy, which has some orange to it. Fussy on the left; RiRi on the right.

@Icegoddess Interesting that you say Fussy in the wand version gloss has a bit of orange in it. Not at all in the gloss stick. It's a true mauvy pink. I have that gloss in Fuchsia Flex. It was my first Fenty purchase. While it's a real nice gloss, the color is too deep for me. I typically don't pass along any kind of make up to anyone for a lot of reasons 🦠 - but my daughter saw it and said "shoot I'll take it." And it looks beautiful on her.
