New BE Liquid Foundation Question ~

Hey BE Beauties ~ Do any of you know of a site to go to that shows all the shades on actual skin? Like on the inside of an arm? I know it is not available yet, but thought someplace might have a better show of shades than photos. I'm still searching for a Liquid Foundation...Just sent back the IT from the last TSV. My skin looked better without the IT than with it. DRATS

Re: New BE Liquid Foundation Question ~

I thought I read that Jessica placed all the shades on her inner arm but can't recall where to find that. Maybe someone else will remember and let you know. I didn't see them personally but something in my head keeps thinking I read about her doing that.

Re: New BE Liquid Foundation Question ~

Maybe someone can help me out. Years ago when I used the Powder Foundation, I used the Regular Medium, and the shade just under that...was that the Fairly medium? I have a little pink undertones. So ` Thinking I should order the 1st and 2nd shades in the Medium? I emailed and asked BE what these colors were called on the Q's page, and they told me to wait till it came out, and go to a store and swatch. No help there.

Mistic -- do you mean medium beige?? I'd been using the original powder in medium (a cool color) and on a fluke, tried the medium beige (a natural color) and I liked it so much better. It is the next color "down" from the medium. In the new liquid foundation, I advance ordered the "Bare Natural" color (also considered a neutral color). Hope this helps....

Re: New BE Liquid Foundation Question ~

Fairly Medium is the medium shade for cool or pink-toned skins.

Re: New BE Liquid Foundation Question ~

Mistic--the answer you got when you e-mailed BE may not have been what you wanted to hear, but, IMO, it was the best and most honest answer there is. Kudos to the person from BE who responded. To get the right color against some one else's skin is so hard to do, because of their skin chemistry. I learned the hard way when BE foundation came out with the Ready formulation. I got the A-D from QVC, but, when I put it on, I definitely had to order a different color. I was lucky that the color I changed to was available for A-D. Gave my first A-D away to a friend. It's best to actually try it on yourself, no matter how great the deal on QVC seems. Sometimes QVC Customer Service can't change the shade.
