I'm picky too but any scent described as 'green' is probably one I'll like

Verde is really different from Midnight Fleur (which I did not dislike but I would not wear).  Verde is light, fresh and kind of green scented.  Impossible to describe but you should give it a whirl.  Try the Dahlia & Vines too...but go light.

Another Beach fan here.I am super fussy about fragrance as well.  I cannot stand  even the smell of most fabric softeners.  Downy and Frebeeze almost make me queasy!  The only room spray I use is Mrs Meyers Lemon Verbena and NEST Beach room spray.  The nest Beach room spray is not the beachy coppertone scent like BB perfume, but just more outdoor fresh smelling.  I have to say Nest room sprays last a long time!  OMG, I can still smell a lingering smell the next day.  I know it is a room spray because I sprayed it, LOL...but if I hadn't sprayed it, I wouldn't have known it was a room spray I was smelling.  I don't like most of the Nest fragrances I have smelled, as they are too strong for me.  But I do love Nest Beach spray.

@shoekitty

You had me at 'Beach'.  I had no idea Nest made a beach room spray.  Now I must check it out.  Where did you buy it?

What I enjoy about Amazing Grace and Bobbi Brown Beach is that they are goof proof for me.  I spritz them on lightly and never feel overwhelmed.

Of the Nest fragrances I am enjoying Dahlia & Vines and Verde.  I've sampled several of the others and they were either too strong or just didn't appeal to me.

To answer your question about D&V it is a clean, light floral -- Amazing Grace-ish but it leans more floral (AG leans more clean).  I enjoy it if I touch my wrists and neck lightly with the roller ball.  If I add any more it goes too strong.  I would definitely recommend trying it at Sephora before taking the plunge.

I buy the nest fragrances at Neiman Marcus.  Free shipping AND returns.  I think the Dahlia and Vines perfume is 10 dollars cheaper than QVC.  Otherwise the prices are the same.  But minus shipping

BTW they have a real beachy one witha little coconut.  it is called Ocean Mist and sea Salt

Okay that is one I definitely need to try. I like Bobbi Brown's beach scent but since her line is not cruely free, I don't buy it. I will have to look for this one by nest.

ETA: Looks like the Ocean Mist one does NOT come in a perfume, bummer!

The Nest Ocean Mist & Sea Salt hand lotion and soap looks really inviting.  I may have to duck in to my local Neiman's to test it.  It is a lotta dough to order online if I don't like it.

Still waiting for the delivery of my Beekman's fresh cream/vanilla hand soap and lotion.  I should be good and content myself with that...

@islandgrrl, I think shoekitty said that they have free returns.

@islandgrrl if you try it, let me know what you think about the scent. I'd be willing to use the body lotion if it is a nice scent. I actually prefer scented body lotions over perfume anyway but yeah, a bit pricey. Also let me know what you think about the Beekman when you get it! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Smiley Happy
