Needing to Buy a New Makeup Mirror

Wow, there is a whole new breed of makeup mirrors out there!  My last 3-sided makeup mirror was purchased probably 25 years ago.  Still works, just takes a little bit longer of holding the switch for it to come on.  No big deal but I thought I'd get an idea of what they look like now.

Do you have the oldie but goodie style that's still going strong? Or do you have...

... the new touch screen 3-sided mirrors with embedded LEDs like this...I want to stay with the stand style and 3 sided.  The 10x mirror attaches to the back when not in use.  The left side mirrors offer 2x and 5x views.   You tap the screen to turn on and adjust the hlight...daylight, home and evening.  Uses a recharable battery or usb plug.

Re: Needing to Buy a New Makeup Mirror

I bought the Simplehuman make up mirror in 2018 and I really like it.

I had previously ried 3 other brands and they really didn't do the job....

@monicakm  What brand is the bottom mirror? Do you know where to purchase?

@monicakm   I use my trusty mirror on a stand. It flips over to 10X magnification for tweezing, etc. Bed, Bath and Beyond has had them forever. I don't need daylight, office light, etc. After so many years of application, I'm fairly confident when too much will look awful outdoors.

I am still using the Clairol makeup mirror from the 70s that I bought at a garage sale for 1.00. Works perfect for me. Mine is all white.

I bought the nifty rolling drawer from here that I set it on and it has a large drawer underneath that holds a lot of makeup.

Re: Needing to Buy a New Makeup Mirror

i had that old 3 way mirror for years!!!!  i attached a 20x spot mirror on it, and it was perfect.  Finally, it died, and i found a round LED lighted mirror.  what a difference with the lighting.  i didn't realize how poor the lighting really was on the old one.  i have attached the faithful 20x spot mirror, and presto. perfection.

I use a simple human rechargeable cordless makeup mirror with 10x.  It was pricey $100 on Amazon but I cannot imagine life without it now.  It lights up by sensor...I love that.

Re: Needing to Buy a New Makeup Mirror

I purchased mine from Amazon...there are so many to choose from! Never had a mirror that lighted up for me....I needed that feature plus I wanted 7x mag on it also.  Have a small 15x mag small round one that can stick on if I need that too.  I stand up to put on my makeup....long time habit so I ordered the wall mounted (has a side arm swing out) this way it is stored flush against the wall and I pull it out (extend it) when in use.
