I try to avoid scented body and laundry products. They can produce reactions.

I do not like strong scents in shampoos as well. I buy scent free detergent.

You know a scent thing is something hard to recomend for what one person likes another may not.
Garnier whole blends has a shampoo that smells like cranberries and another like green apple.
I personally would not use them if it was a lingering scent. If it was in shower only I would use it.
Clairol hair food smells great and they do not seem to linger at least the one I tried did not linger. I used the Kiwi scented one. The also have an apricot and a strawberry.
I personally like pantene for the scent is light I also like Brocheto Cloud 9 at beautybrands.com for it is a light fresh scent that does not linger.
Hemptz herbal has a pomograniate shampoo that smells great.
As far as drugstore shampoos goes Suave Keratin and Morrocan oil smells divine to me as well as tresseme ketatin in the red bottle

You asked about shampoo, but the L'Oreal Elastic Curl Mousse makes my hair smell really nice. Often I get compliments.

You didn't mention why this is important ... fragrance is an irritant .... and most scents disappear within a short time after use, anyway. Nevertheless, what one person considers "great" another will think is stinky!

Suave and White Rain make some shampoos that smell great. I also like the smell of the OGX line, including the Coconut Milk shampoo. Carol's Daughter shampoos smell lovely. The new Garnier Whole Blends line is supposed to smell great, too. They have formulas with coconut, cranberry, honey, and green apple.

DH STILL asks me now and then if I have found a shampoo that smells like his all time fave....the old Herbal Essence. I see original bottles of the stuff sell on ebay for BIG $$$$$. Anyone know a shampoo that has the same wonderful smell as this old classic? It would make my DH very happy. TIA!

I like Quidad. My beautician uses it all the time on my hair. The gel and the hair spray smell great. The shampoo and conditioner works good on my hair.

My absolute favorite is Oribe. Such a wonderful clean scent.
