Clinique High Impact

Bobbi Brown Smoky Eye

These have been my all-time favorites.  I wouldn't call them lash thickening, however.  I tend to lean towards lash lengthening as I don't like mine looking super thick. Bobbi Brown's tube is more expensive but seems to have more in the tube so it lasts me a longer.  I would like to find a drugstore one that is cheaper. Still looking...not much luck.

I went to CVS today on my way home from the hair salon.  I was looking for the Essence mascara and didn't see it & one of the employees was putting up stock.  I said, "excuse me, may you please direct me to the Essence mascara?", and she replied, "what brand is it"?  I responded "Essence".  She said, "no, I mean what brand, like L'OrĂ©al, or Cover Girl?"  I responded, "Essence".  She mumbled and walked off!  I just had a good giggle.  I never did find it, by the way, so I'll go to Ulta next time I'm in town, or I could just order it online.

Another vote for Essence!  I use the curl & volume one in the black and pink tube.  It's even better with the primer.  I get both for under $10 on Amazon.

After reading all the good reviews here about Essence mascara, I decided to try it.  While running errands today I stopped by Ulta.  It was on sale buy two, get one free.

Thought everyone that uses it would like to know!
