Re: Need help with eyebrows! Please.!!!

Ahh! Overtweezer here, too! Additionally, my brows have a lot of white hairs in them. I tried EVERY product imaginable. I finally followed a suggestion I found here on the boards. I dye my brows with Just For Men Beard and Mustache hair dye. Like beards and mustaches eyebrow hairs are quite refractory to hair dyes. I use a pea sized glob of the color and a pea sized glob of the peroxide cream; mix them together; apply; leave on for about 5-10 min; wash off. VoilĂ ! Eyebrows! Believe it or not, you have lots of little invisible hairs that can't be seen unless they are dyed. These little hairs give you a fuller looking brow when they are dyed. I have to do it about every 6-8 weeks.

After I have dyed my brows I use Sonia Kashuk cream brow filler. It's available at Target for $9.99. It has 4 colors in a palette. I like it because I can mix the colors myself depending on how long its been since I dyed my brows. Right after I dye them I use very little brow cream and use the lightest color. As time goes on I use more. HTH

ELF or Avon, both inexpensive, kits with a wax and a setting powder, I like them both.

I use Physician's Formula Brow Definer in Beige-Brown and it's perfect for my dark brown eyebrows. It's automatic and has a brush on the other end. It's very inexpensive at the regular price but you can get it now for 40% off at some drug stores. It's also on a BOGO at Ulta and you can use their coupon. HTH!

I think the whole secret in applying brows is in the tool -- like the Smashbox eyebrow brush. Even if you use a pencil, and then brush it down with nothing on the brush, the brush makes everything look completely natural.

I love the IT brow pencil..(not the thin one)..I have to pencil in the end of mine...try short strokes, (do not roll it out too far or they break)..you can make them darker or lighter by pressure....

Can the OP post what her issues are? Sparse, going gray, unruly and needs taming? That might help.

Another vote for Anastasia. I use Brow Wiz and have been very, very happy. I did try her tinted gel, went on a little too goopy for me. My brows are sparse so not much to cling on to.

That said it did give me an idea of what they would look like with a professional tint and I'm leaning toward a salon tint.

I OVERTWEEZED when I was younger and hair did not grow back. I need something to make them look a little more fuller. Thanks.

If that is the case, I would definitely turn to the brow experts: Anastasia.

A little higher than drug store cost but lasts for a while -- Smashbox brow pencil. I use taupe as I have medium brown hair w/ a touch of red

Re: Need help with eyebrows! Please.!!!

I'm a young 64, I've always had good brows but just started using Benefit Gimme Brow. I am a bit intimidated by pencils, this has a tiny mascara like brush that is easy to apply. It works well for me, I can apply it as light or dark as I want. It's expensive ($25), but it lasts for me a couple of months.
