Re: Need a product to give me the ""piecey"" look

Thanks for all of these great responses! I have written down several suggestions and will try them. I agree with what many said that the paste is too thick and when I try to use less, nothing happens and when I use more, it looks fuzzy instead of piecey. Great feedback gals!

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it

One more? In the Aveda line, there's a product marketed towards men (I am a woman) called "grooming clay" that might serve your purpose - I have short hair and it works for me, to separate, lift, or smooth. Can be used on damp or dry hair - with just a smidgen of product it never appears greasy. In fact, besides the fact that the hair stays in place, I don't think you can tell there's anything on. My stylist recommended it; I get it at the salon.

"Dirt" by Jonathon. It's a paste/mud type product, but don't use too much. He sells a lot of hair care products and I've used this one for several years.

I've used several of the ones mentioned here, and they are all good. The key is to not use too much product or your hair will feel dirty.
