I hope to leverage the collective experience of all of the kind forum posters.
I'm in need of a new shampoo. Generally, I shampoo twice a week and my hair is heavily highlighted, dryish almost to my shoulders. I already use K18. so no bond, building shampoos necessary. I have many conditioners and masks that I already love.
Since I already invested in my color, I am willing to invest in my hair products. My stylist had me try Oribe, Kerastase, Ouai, and Maria Nila. I like Keratase the most but feel like I could do better.
Also, please, no WEN. I tried it and....no...
Thank you!

Pureology hydrate shampoo and conditioner. I get a two-step color every four weeks at the salon, and this shampoo and conditioner are amazing!

I only shampoo once a week and use a co-wash the other 3X I wash. I have used and have returned to Pureology Hydrate.
About bonding treatments:
I like to mix it up. I do use K18, but mostly when I color. Since I don't shampoo every time I wash, I couldn't follow the prescribed routine. K18 has a pro formula meant to use pre-color and then you use the mask post-color. I then sometimes use Olaplex 1 & 3 on shampoo day when I have the extra time on shampoo day. Otherwise, I'll use Redken's spray in which is for fine hair, but I spray it in before I shampoo on dry hair rather than on wet hair after I shampoo. If the purpose is for the hair to soak up the product, I think it soaks up better in dry hair than wet.
My understanding of Olaplex vs K18 is that if you envision your hair as a ladder, one treats the rungs while the other treats the rails, so I like to use both.
I both color and perm, so plenty of damage for the bonding treatments.

Thank you! A stylist (but not my stylist) friend also recommended this brand!

This is really comprehensive! Thank you!

You may want to try Amika Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Repair Shampoo.
The purple pigments counteract harsh brassy, orange tones. Enhances shine and softness Boosts hair health. Highlights can fry hair and this moisturizes and really helps the color as well. They also have shampoo for dry hair exclusively but I have not tried them.Another great one is Champo albeit pricey. The product line helps hair shedding but they also have great options for dry hair. It can only be ordered from Champo and QUICKLY ships from England. Great customer service and guaranteed satisfaction.Does your stylist also apply a gloss? That helps. Good luck!!
I had an Amika mask I liked a lot. I forgot about them, THank you!

I've tried several of Oribe's Gold Lust products.
While the scent of the shampoo and conditioner are amazing, the product themselves are a meh.
Nordies has a trial/travel kit if you want to try before investing.
I'm currently using Paul Mitchell Awapuhi shampoo and Sisley Hair Rituel conditioner with good results.

I have the same experience with the Oribe line. I think it gets raves because of the embarrassing cost. Awapuhi is certainly a classic for a reason.

I have had some dry and dull issues and have tried what seems like every possible brand. I just went back to Kerastase (after several years) and am using the Genesis line. So far I really like it. I'm using the shampoo and conditioner but the hair mask once a week instead of the conditioner. My hair feels softer and stronger than it has in years.
