I am DONE with mattes.  Have yet to wear a matte that doesn't dry out my lips and make them look hideously flaky.

Please share your successes with satin or creme lippies that you can recommend.  TIA

I'm very pleased with good old Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks, either sheer or cream.  They have so many shades.  Some of the sheers aren't even very sheer.  My favorite lately is Pink Truffle which is a sheer but acts more like a cream.

It's not drying, and goes on easily.

wet n wild  MegaLast Lip Color. They're really good, nice on the lips and wallet. Lots of colors, top-rated by many bloggers and customers.

Don't knock it 'til you try it. I was skeptical because it's so cheap. But after I tried it I was sold and bought several more shades. They stay on for a really long time and they don't dry out my lips at all.

Good question!  Smiley Wink

Rosey mauves/soft nudes.

If they work, no particular price range.

I just got a new lipstick I love (it was on Taylor S on the Vogue big issue cover) by Maybelline...Color Sensation in "Undressed Pink". Very pretty! A rosey nude...

Clinique. I always have good luck with Clinique lipsticks.

I highly recommend Colourpops satin formula. Very affordable and great range of colors from nude to oxblood.

@cuddlesmama   My favorite is L'Oreal 2-step matte lipstick with a gloss.  It does not flake or destroy the look of my lips.  Cream lipsticks last less than 5 minutes on my lips, so I have to use something that is worth the trouble putting it on.  L'oreal's 2-step is worth the effort.
