I have one on order and my question is ... Should I get electric or battery operated? Must change order by supper time. Thanks beauty experts! LM

I would get battery just for the convenience of not having to deal with a cord while using it.

I have a battery one and love it. One of the reasons I like it is I take it out on the patio and use it while my Shelties do their last run around in the yard. And the ""dust"" just blows away.

I have the battery one. I like that it's portable and I don't have to be near an outlet to use it.

The only benefit of the corded style is that you don't have to replace the batteries. With the battery version, you have the ability to do your heels wherever you might be, in your home; bathroom, bedroom, family room, at your desk, the patio, etc.

I have both and prefer the rechargeable (electric) one because it seems more powerful to me. It also can be used with or without the cord - I have used it both ways. It does not need to be plugged in to use it; so, you can use it even if you are not near an outlet.

I have the battery operated and while I like the convenience I think I would prefer an electric. When I notice the battery power is decreasing on my Emjoi I think the electric would give a more consistent, even flow of power.

I have the battery one and love it! It does a great job and I've tried just about every thing for my calluses. The 2 AA batteries last longer than you think. It's a nice convenience to be able to use this where ever you are and not be tethered to an outlet. I kept going back and forth as to which one to purchase and finally decided to go for the battery model. I'm so glad I did.

Where did you get the rechargeable version? That really does seem to be the best of both worlds.
