Need Help Finding a Styling Gel

I just got my hair cut into a flippy bob. I just want the end pieces and a few others to flip up. My hair has evolved from very long hair 6 months ago to shoulder length and now this, so I'm not used to this length of hair.

What is happening right now is that I flip the ends up with the straightening iron as recommended by my stylist. I spray it lightly, and then it falls flat.

I have fine, full auburn hair (naturally wavy). I would prefer a drugstore product as I don't have enough time right now to order from QVC before Christmas.

I don't want a product that will give me that "wet" look or make my hair stiff. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!
