I am looking for a new color correcting concealer. I used to use one, but stopped and would like to try them again. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I have had good results with Westmore Beauty Shadow Edit Magic Shadow Eraser Duo- A395914. I have very fair skin and very dark circles that are exacerbated by allergies. I use this product under my concealer and it helps even out my skintone.
A few months ago I went on a mission to find a color corrector and spent a small fortune on Dermablend, Fenty, Natasha Denona, Becca, Bobby Brown, Elf, Milani, and more. They all caked and I looked worse than when I started.
Nikol Johnson's Just Peachy is also very good and it did not cake.
Good luck finding one that works for you.

@YanksFan Thanks for your detailed response. I am a fan of several products by Westmore, but have never tried this. I will definitely look into it.

@scullychick and @YanksFan - I like this one too! I wore it today. The only one that works better for me is 10 Years Younger by Voodoo Makeup, also peach toned.
I "called" @Shanus because she is a professional makeup artist and would have good advice. I'm sure she'll answer when she sees your thread! ![]()

@scullychick Bobbi Brown discontinued mine...best ever. I'm now using one from DRMTLGY (check their site). It covers, depuffs w/ caffeine and smoothes the undereye. It comes in three shades Fair, Medium and Dark. Naturally I'm the fair. It's also not too thick. The coverage is so good (has brightening properties, too) that I don't use concealer over it.

@wagirl A corrector is a peach tone "concealer" that goes under the eyes after eye cream to conceal any darkness. Concealer goes on top. This means when a lighter application of concealer is applied on top, you need to use much less.
If you have dark bluish/purple discoloration under the eyes, the corrector's peach tone helps to cover this meaning you use much less concealer so less chance of a cakey look or settling in lines. If discoloration is a lot, concealer alone usually won't cover it and leaves a greyish look to the undereye.
