Nails splitting on the side.

My nails have been splitting on the sides bad. I try and cut them as best as I can. I have been using Sally Hanson miracle cure some not as much as I should. I even got Sephora glass nail file using that. I try and do my own manicures. Keep lotion on but still splitting. Is there something else I could try?? thanks.{#emotions_dlg.blink}
