It's really pretty! I don't have either polish, but they do look very, very similar online. Coastal Surf looks perhaps a tad darker? I took the liberty of inserting a pic of both.

I'm thinking about what to put on later tonight. Ordered pizza and I'm going to watch a few youtube videos while I'm waiting for delivery.

Once again, thank you all for the well wishes for my cousin. She did finally "open" her eyes for a second on Saturday, but there's little to no response, otherwise. (I put open in quotes because honestly, it looked more like a reflex than a command her brain was sending, if that makes sense). I didn't even go to the hospital yesterday because I was at home trying to play catch-up. I will probably go today, but only for a short visit.

Hilde - I have and love Yummy! I remember when it was released that everyone was comparing it to the Revlon. It's one of my favorite blue tones - ever!

Snow - Happy Belated Birthday to you! I had no idea our birthdays were so close together! Yay!! How funny that your DIL shares the same birthday with me! I mean...what are the odds?! See? We were meant to be friends! I'm thinking Orly has an electric blue and maybe a neon purple, too but for the life of me, I can't recall the names - duh! Let us know if you have any luck finding what you're looking for. Revlon's Hot Hand looks so pretty on you and I can't believe that's from Day 4 of wearing it! I'm not a huge fan of pink (on me), but twice now I've almost reached for Zoya's Eden. Maybe that's what I'll wear next!

jup - I thank you for your thoughtful post and as it happens, I'm a huge fan of meditation! It has helped me in pretty much every aspect of my life! Love that green China Glaze combo, as well as the Loaded Lacquer one!! Sounds like you picked up some great colors from China Glaze with Groupon! Woohoo! Also...pizza!!

So, today I'm wearing Zoya's Malia which I love. Y'all know how hard it is to capture the trueness of purple, so I'll just tell you that my pic isn't telling the story! It's warmer and dare I say...more red?! I dunno...

bella - I hope your cousin's eye opening was a positive sign. Such an unknown as to what's actually going on, but it makes sense to me that at some level your cousin can pick up on your positive thoughts whether you are physically in the room or home catching up. I'm glad what I said made sense. It was really hard to find words to briefly express my thoughts without feeling I might be bordering on woowoo.

Hilde - Glad I could help out. It's always nice when you find a polish (or anything you love) at an extremely good sale price.

The pizza was wonderful. I decided to splurge and order from a local chain. I tried their rice flour crust, topped with half Watsonville Apple (green apple slices,pepperoni, sausage, bacon, green onions, gorgonzola and fresh garlic) and half Figgy Piggy (bacon, black figs, fresh sage and feta).

I ended up with China Glaze Violet-Vibes on my nails. Tonight I'll be changing to one of the polishes from the Mystic Muse Poppy collection. Not sure which one yet.

Good rainy morning!

I don't know about y'all, but we've had just about enough rain for the season! I need to get out and run some errands, but our crazy Memphis drivers are even crazier when it rains! Yikes! Not sure if I'll get out or not...

jup - My cousin's immediate family is taking everything as a sign of improvement, but the doctors have finally convinced them that the chest tube should be removed (which is supposed to happen tomorrow), so we'll see what happens. Thank you - and thank everyone - for your concern. I'm the last person who would think anything was too woowoo! That purple/violet ChG is so pretty!

Hilde - Yes! You got an amazing deal on that beautiful Revlon polish!! Have you worn it yet?

Y'all remember how I said I wasn't a huge fan of pink? Well...I was inspired by Snow's beautiful mani to pull out a pink I have never worn - haha! I went with Wet n Wild Candy-licious and oh my goodness...it's pink perfection! The formula was exquisite and I actually like it on my nails. Go figure, right?! I did mess up my pointer finger, but hopefully, y'all can't see that too bad.

I had been off the boards for a little while and when I came back, here was a nail thread. I jumped right in and it was like I never left...everyone is so friendly! It's so great to see you...how are you?! I have Daisy, but have yet to wear her. I'm getting ready to paint my nails right now, if I could ever decide what to wear! I've taken 4 colors off my shelf, but put them back! haha I hopped on here to get some inspiration! Yep...some things never change - lol!

nom, I've lost more posts until I finally remembered to copy them. I don't learn as quickly as others though, lol. I still lose one every now and then.

Actually, it was day five when I had the tip wear. The day I posted the pic, on the eleventh, was day four of my mani. The twelfth, day five, was when I had the tip wear. I'm so sorry I didn't explain better, I was posting quickly and mess up sometimes when I do that.

I'm very impressed with that polish. I didn't get a chance to remove it the other day, so I added another layer of top coat on the twelfth and just took it off tonight. Never got a chip, and the tip wear was minimal. I do plan to try a few more colors. I'm not sure if I'll pick up the top coat or not since it worked just fine with Seche Vite. Probably not. Not right now anyway. If I think I need it later I will get it.

jup, thank you! Virago always has the prettiest colors. I've seen so many that I want.

I did not know that Treble Maker was new. Again, I'm behind on looking at the new collections and swatches. I will take a look when I go shopping, hopefully this weekend if I'm not too tired.

It took three coats of the Milani neon orange to get out the streaks. She used thin coats, but still, four coats total plus top coat. She really would like any of the neons and brights you posted. I, myself, want Treble Maker and Violet-Vibes. The one she wanted most was the orange. Her favorite athletic shoes have a bit of the neon orange in the design, and the laces are neon orange.

Had I known sooner that she wanted these colors, I would have got that set from Groupon. I saw it on there last month but didn't order because I have three of the colors.

Like you, I don't wear pinks very often but I did love that hot pink. I was ready for bright colors. I do remember Candy-licious and need to get it. I plan to change pink a lot during October and want to get that one. I did get Tropicalia. That one is in the old round bottle.

We're getting plenty of that rain, too. I'm so tired of it, yet I know when it leaves, it is going to be so hot and humid. I'd like Summer much more if it weren't for that awful humidity.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something but I need to hit the sack. Goodnight y'all.
