Yes, thanks lulu for bumping the thread. Hi nom! I was going to come back and post a couple of times. Then totally forgot. Plus it's been so quiet in here... I miss everyone posting frequently.

Bella, how did you leave polish off your nails for that long? I've been leaving the same polish on for a couple of days more often than I used to. But I don't think I've made it longer than overnight without something on. Bad I know, but I found that polish covered all the peeling tips. As of right now, I have ten nails that are on the short side, but all pretty much the same length with minimal remaining peeled areas. Yay!

I thought my purchases were slowing down once I got done with all the valentine's polishes. But such was not the case. I received Mystic Muse's City Chic Collection (I will also be get two more later in the monthly subscription box). I will be receiving Virago Varnishes Hollywood Glamour Collection later today. I caved and pre-ordered Gothic Gala's Mt. Olympus Collection yesterday, along with Pahlish's March duo. I plan to be online tonight when Super Chic's Serendipity Collection is released and later this week when Virago Varnish does a final restock of the Harvest and Fall 2014 Collections.

txrose - That's too bad that you're not pleased with the satin finish polishes from Zoya. Sometimes, we just never know til we try it, huh?! I gotta say I'm generally not a fan of matte finish polish, but I do love the 2 that I have (Posh and Veruschka) with a top coat. Are you going to change to something different?

jup - Yeah, it wasn't easy having nothing on my nails for so long! I also find that keeping polish on seems to helps with my peely nails, but I was at the end of my rope and needed to try going without polish. I've seen a few girls on YouTube review the Serendipity collection and the whole thing is FAB!

nom - I hear ya trying to get those nails in better shape! Who was it who listed the ingredients of the Delore stuff? Was it Snow? Anyway, I had that in my hands a couple months ago at Sally's but didn't get it and after reading that post, I'm glad I didn't! I'm allergic to soy and peanuts, so it probably wouldn't help me!

I'm still wearing Blu and other than my jacked-up splitting nail, I have no chips! Wow!! That said, I'll probably change my polish tonight - lol. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Bella I will keep them and use them as a base coat or something it's a shame we all live so far away from each other or we could do polish swaps. I think you're right its probably the semi mat finish but I did use a top coat.{#emotions_dlg.blush}

Gosh, Bella, I had no idea there were soy and peanut oils in Delore. Thank goodness you discovered that before trying it!

Hi Ladies,

I have a lot of catching up to do here.

I'm wearing CND Vinylux Married to the Mauve, but it will change later in the week. These are not my nails.

txrose - Just a thought, as long as you like the actual color, you may want to wear the matte polish for a day or two. Sometimes it does take a bit to get used to a "new" look. I'm still not too sure about matte finishes. But the more I see of them, the better I am liking the look. And I almost always like them with a super glossy topcoat or a bit of glitter. There are many colors and finishes that I really like now that seemed a bit strange at first.

bella - Just goes to show you that it pays to check for known allergens, particularly those substances that are commonly used. I have several different cuticle oils that have come in indie orders. I also have several small polish bottles each filled with a different oil...tea tree and vitamin e from Trader Joe's, avocado, olive and grapeseed from my kitchen. I just grab one when I remember to. I keep meaning to fill a small empty jar with coconut oil to add to the collection. I realized that my nails needed a break from using the Nailtiques 2. They were starting get a bit brittle and I think some of what I thought was peeling was actually build up chipping off with the nail polish.

Last year I didn't much care for the look of neon polishes on my nails. Now I'm absolutely loving them. I'm hoping I can get my order in for the Serendipity collection when it becomes active later today so I don't have to wait for a restock. I also really liked the preview I saw for China Glaze's summer neon collection...Electric "something or other."

Good Morning!

jup - I'm glad you discovered that Nailtiques 2 was making your nails brittle and I hope you didn't have any damage from using it. I like it and it does seem to help my nails, but I do like to switch it up a little and will use it for several days and then use something like butter LONDON or Barielle. Look at you getting on the neon bandwagon! Wink I think Zoya's Lola is about the most neon color I have (and it's not really a neon). Oh wait...I might have Paz (unless I gave it away) and I'm pretty sure it's a neon!

abbey - I LOVE that nail color!! Reminds me of something...Zoya Odette maybe? I dunno...but I it's fab! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

nom - I know! I should have read the label when I was in Sally's, but I didn't and I'm so glad the ingredients were posted here! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

txrose - Oh my gosh...wouldn't it be so fun to get together and talk nail polish?! I'm sure there would be no gaps in the conversation! haha {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I will say that when Zoya launched those satin matte neutrals, I was thinking I might try a couple - but hearing how muddy you think they are, I probably won't bother (unless I can catch one on sale - haha).

So, I did change my polish and it's still gray and raining here but I took a pic anyway! It's Zoya's Dillon.

bella-luna, it's so good to see you posting again. I've always been amazed by your daily polish changes, so I hope you will continue posting.

As for the Zoya Satin collection; I had a 50% off code so bought the entire collection. So far I've only used one manicure you Leah but I liked it and was surprised that it did well without a topcoat. For me the colors are spring/summer. My next manicure will probably be with Rowan. To my eyes, the colors are lighter than they appear on the Zoya website. I know my Granddaughters will love the green and blue.
