My hands were and are in water for many, many years. Gloves help w/ housework and doing dishes, but can't wear them slicing veggies and cooking.

I wear either a Sally Hansen nail hardener or switch w/ Perfect Formula that I purchase on A.

I use either vaseline or good ole' fashion bag balmon my cuticles.  My nails have never been great--chewed on them for  years and then having strong chemo treatments for 5 months really messed them up --that was in 2012 and still have 2 nails that have ridges that crack and that peel . I decided to try over lays on my natural nails to help protect them --I go every 4 weeks for a fill. this will be the 3rd time for this and I have to admit--it is so nice to have strong and not ugly nails. They are short-- just above my finger tips, so believable--I use gloves for anything water related and at night treat the cuticles.  I opt for a nude, neutral color too. Not sure how long I will keep this up.

Hands take the harshest treatment of any body part.  Rinse those dishes, clean those counters......

For me they need to be in gloves, if possible, and covered with a rich cream several time a day.  Pick a nice oil to rub on too.  And keep at it.  Sitting here on the keyboard?  All creamed up.

I have a curticle oil I got at Sally's Beauty Supply and use it faithfully. Nails don't look too bad.

Try a good nail strengthener I recommend choosing one from Nail Aid sold on amazon. also you can try applying Solar Oil to the skin near the nails.

I also use TIPS.  Best product I have ever used for my nails.

I apply WEN treatment oil to my nails every night while I'm watching by "before bed" TV show.  It's quite relaxing massaging it into my cuticles.

I think I'm going to use one besides Tea Tree oil, though because it makes my nails grow too fast.  Even my nail technician commented today that my nails appeared longer than normal this time.  It is the nightly use of Tea Tree oil, so I'll switch to another scent.

I had Tea Tree but the scent was way too strong for me especially before bed.  I got another scent and it is much better!

I've used Burt's Bees cuticle cream, but I'm going to be trying my Wen winter vanilla mint oil.
