I use Essie and like their colors.  I'm not into weird colors or very dark colors.  I don't like my finger nails to take center stage and this brand doesn't stain your nails.

Years ago I purchased serveral bottles of Chanel polish and was very disappointed.  Essie is affordable.

Here are a few of the colors I have currently.

Play Date (a med lavender)

S'il Vous Plait (light pink with subtle sparkle)

Big Spender

Flowerista 

Merino Cool (gray with mauve undertones)

Chinchilly (darker gray with subtle mauve undertones)

Ladylike  (pale pink)

Splash of Grenadine

Cameo 

Ballet Slippers

Lilacism

On the Mauve

I have found Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish and Top Coat last the longest without chipping.

I recently discovered Orly Breatheable. It is a game changer with the condition of my nails! Night and day! I highly recommend!

My everday nail polish is the Perfect Gel Coat.  Now that I work from home, fingernail polish is too much upkeep. But I do regularly use ExprESSIE (the quick dry Essie) brand.  Great colors, lasts on my toes (but most do) and super quick dry.

Perfect Formula contains formaldehyde, try to avoid that.

@fairydogmother    Thanks for your post.  Thought I was the only one...it ridiculous when you're excited to only get 3 days or less on a home manicure!
