Get your granddaughter an Emjoi eRase epilator instead. It works great for many of us, gets wonderful reviews.

@stargazer    I own it and it is worthless – a BIG waste of my limited money!  The name says it all…NO NO – save your money, it is too big a price to pay for the lesson you will learn.

Thank you all !  I had gone to HSN for reviews but didn't find any..  I appreciate the help here so much and have decided to pass.  Will look into the Emjoi.
