Just received Nira Pro+ from recent sale. I know it's designed for use in the under eye area but know that many use it on other areas of the face. What is your experience using this? What other areas do you use it on? Any tips on using this device?
Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I have the Nira Pro. I use it on my hands, my entire face, underneath my jaw. I didn't have much response using it on my neck, so I stick with red light for that area.
I didn't like using it undereye. Even on the lowest setting. It seemed to bring out wrinkles and issues I didn't have. So I don't use it there. I do use it on the crows feet area and two spaces above that on my lids.
I use it on the highest setting, once a day almost every day. Love the results. I noticed them first on my hands. HTH.

I've been using the PRO+ for a few months now. I bought a second PRO+ just recently so I can do my treatments w/o having to stop and recharge. I treat my entire face, neck and dec. I have to look in the mirror while treating to make sure I have enough overlap between 'stamps' but not double-treating the same spot at once. Keep it away from my brows and lips but stamp everywhere else. NIRASkin dot com has a very helpful FAQ page.

Great info! Thanks for helping me get started with this device. I'm very excited to try it!

You're welcome.
NIRA says you can see results in about 8 weeks and that's true but the fact is the older you are the longer it will take to see any significant improvements. I'm 70 and although I did see some firming and smoothing after about 8 weeks, I really saw more smoothing and particularly more significant firmness after about 12 weeks.

Thanks. I'm 70 too so will give it the extra time to see some results. I know it won't be a miracle but hope it will "freshen" me up a little!

@SilleeMee does this do anything for brown spots at all? I have been eyeing this for a while 😅

I can't answer that b/c I have no brown spots to treat. But generally speaking, lasers such as the NIRA can help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation by increasing cell turnover so over time the skin will appear clearer mainly b/c of the increased thickness of the skin from collagen production.

I have one pesky spot that bothers me, nobody probably even notices it. My sis though has melasma, her worry is that heat from lasers make it worse. Does it make the skin hot?

All lasers get hot. That's the fundamental nature of laser technology. But the good news is the NIRA is adjustable form levels 1 to 5 so if it feels too hot then turn it down.
