Re: NEW to Paula's Choice - question please

thank you all so much for the info...just when I thought I knew it all about skincare, I learn something new from this board!

lyndajr, when I first started with PC, customer service made recommendations for several products. They then sent me a packet of enough samples so that I could see whether I liked them. They did this free of charge.

I know that they do sell samples, but try speaking with them and letting them know that you're interested in a regimen and that you would appreciate their sending you samples at no charge.

I don't know whether my experience was customary, but it's certainly worth a try.

Re: NEW to Paula's Choice - question please

Paula believes in no seperate products for eyes or neck.

Edited to add - I think the most important product I am using from Paula's Choice is her Resist Super Light Spf 30. I use this around my entire eye area daily with no irritation. It has a tint and is all zinc oxide. It is very gentle and the only product with spf that I have been able to use around my eyes (lids too) with no irritation. Love it !!!!

Me too myshell624 - the Resist Super Light SPF 30 is an HG product for me. That and the 2% BHA liquid or gel. Love the C serum too!

I've been using her Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream under my eyes during the day and at night. It works well under concealer, also. I was going to reorder it and it's currently out of stock. I will definitely reorder it when it comes back in stock.

After suffering with combo -oily skin, blackheads and large pores punctuated by monthly hormonal breakouts for most of my life I finally tried paula's choice and it has completely changed my skin. I followed her advice and went with a mixture of her products and Cerave. Amazing results. I am a complete convert and I wish I had begun using PC a year ago when I first heard about them.

I have used PC skin balancing serum under my eyes and I have not had irritation.

I hope you have good luck with the line.

Are you sure we aren't twins? I have this same issues....had until I did the same thing. A mix of PC and Cerave. I love how honest their customer support is!

I use both her antioxidant serum and the vitamin C around the eyes with no issues.

Re: NEW to Paula's Choice - question please

I just started on this and tried a sample of the super light SPF 30 today. Wow! It is tinted and I could apply it heavily. It minimized my pores and lines and I needed no other make-up. I'm in love. It blew dr denser and every other bb cream and tinted moisturizer I ever used away. I like light coverage but always had to use a separate sunscreen because I couldn't apply the make-up to get the sunscreen effect right. This was fantastic!

Yay! So happy you like it. It works really well for me too. I don't see it as giving me any coverage but I do love the finish of it.

First let me just say that thanks to this BB I am now a huge fan of Paula's, and am currently waiting for my 4th order this month!!! I ordered a few products about a month ago and keep going back for more..especially since she has the 15% off and then sent me a 10% with free shipping on top of that. I was confused about the eye area as well, so I emailed CS and she responded with what many of you are saying which is mostly all of her products can be used around the eye area. She said that if I was dry around the eye area which I am, that Moisture Boost would be a good cream to try. As luv2playgolf said it is out of stock...I am assuming because the 15% is being offered people are stocking up. So instead I ended up ordering the Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer because that was what the website recommended at the bottom for the page since Moisture Boost was out of stock. Should be arriving today.
