I would like to try some of these products but don't know where to start. I am looking at the All-Trans Retinol, Vitamin C+Serum, DNA Serum, Volu-Lift Reconturing Cream, and the Copper Peptide with EGF.

I can only afford 3 products right now so I don't know which ones I should choose. I emailed Nancy but I didn't get any response, so I am hoping you ladies can help me choose. My problems are loss of firmness, a few age spots on my cheeks, and mouth to nose lines and #11's. Overall skin texture could use some help also.

So I am thinking the Volu-Lift Cream is a no brainer, but which other two products would you add to the mix?

Thanks!

That's a hard one question to answer because we are all so different that what works well for me may be a disaster for you and vice versa. I have tried all of the products you mentioned except for the copper and the only ones I like and am still using are the volulift cream and DNA serum. The all-trans retinol broke me out and the vitamin c serum irritated my skin.

I'll suggest what I am going to personally start with as I am also very interested and impressed with this brand. Vitamin C is fast becoming one of the most recommended ingredients we should use on our skin by many dermatologists (behind retinol) so I am opting to begin with NCN's C serum. I have long been a proponent of vitamin C after researching it's benefits some years back.

I am a bit torn between the DNA serum and the Copper Peptide ......... the Copper peptide because I want to start derma rolling and know that can be used right after rolling and the DNA because I have read some benefits of combining that with the C serum. I would suggest if you are not using any type of retinol product, you might want to consider the C and the trans retinol. I currently have a retinol product I use so won't order NCN's trans retinol until I finish with my current one.

Many NCN users are very interested in the Volu-lift cream which you said you have already decided on. It has been mentioned here a few times and I believe a few have also ordered it. You'll have to post what you think about it after using it.

You really can't go wrong with any of those you've selected, to be honest. Nancy is usually very good at responding to emails according to many here so I would give her another day to get back to you with her recommendations.

The C serum will definitely help with firming and age spots as well as over-all skin texture.

BTW, a bit OT for a moment but I love the area where you reside. I have many very fond memories of Lebanon, Lancaster and surrounding vicinities. Have you ever heard of Mt Gretna? My sister lived in Gretna (and initially Lebanon) so I used to visit a lot. We were very close and sadly she died while only in her 30's (which was quite some time ago now) so have only had a few occasions to visit again since (niece and nephew's wedding, gradations and the like) Absolutely a lovely area!

Good luck deciding and hope I didn't add any confusion to your decision making!! Wink

LOVE NCN's C serum! Best I have used. Recently, I reevaluated the products I was using. I discovered that I really couldn't do better than NCN's C any where else. Her copper serum is strong and you would need to start that slowly if you choose that. If it were me I'd probably start with the C, retinol, and VoluLift. You'd have the C which, IMO, every regimen should include along with all of the other impressive antioxidants in this serum, retinol for cell turnover, and VoluLift for moisture. Just my opinion.

Cassiem is absolutely right that what works for some of us doesn't work at all for others. My reason for deciding on the C is that I am looking for a new C serum and I liked the ingredients of NCN's ......... particularly the addition of MAP and glutathione. I have not had issues with other C serums so am hopeful I won't with this either. Sometimes you just have to give products a try as how else can we know how we'll respond?

I have used retinols and retinaA so again, not worried that I will react poorly to NCN's trans retinol. I would not know if I could tolerate retinols or retina A if I hadn't given them a try.

There is always a first time for everything so I'll be experimenting a bit too but don't know how else to determine how I'll react to them if I don't give them a try. I have no insider wisdom by any means so answered your request by telling you what I am personally going to order from NCN as my starting point.

Love the Vit C serum. It has a short and effective and well-thought-out ingredient list that does not include fillers or known irritants, a perfect pH, and my very sensitive skin loves it.She has recently added MAP, which makes the serum even more stable and less likely to cause any irritation.

Whatever you decide, here is a promo code for 10 percent off: Happy 2014.

Glad you remembered to add the code. I was just getting ready to edit my post to included it. I'm still considering the VoluLift before end of the month.

Boy, am I glad you asked this question! I'm in the same boat (don't know where to start) and I haven't gotten around to emailing Nanci yet. Problem is, I want (and think I need) so many of them! Who among us couldn't use some LIFT? :-) Isn't there some lifing serum, too? I do recall BellaCarro saying she wishes she'd ordered the cream (VoluLift) -- right, BC? Didn't you try a sample and find your skin still felt great in the morning?

Anyway, I'm thinking C, retinol and VoluLift for my intro, as has been suggested. Also her green tea serum for pre-LightStim use.

I'm also interested in her soap -- has anybody tried that?

I have only used the Vitamin C serum and love it. It is the first vitamin C serum I tried that didn't irritate my skin (my skin isn't very sensitive normally) and that I've actually gotten results from and I've tried many different ones. I love that it contains ferulic acid, hyaluronic acid (in the forum of sodium hyaluronate), glutathione and two different forms of vitamin C, one which is the gold standard for vitamin C in terms of absorption and maximum utilization by the skin and also that it has the proper pH for maximum efficacy. It also comes in a pump and dark bottle, which is ideal for a vitamin C product in order to prevent degradation of the vitamin c (every time vitamin c is exposed to light and air it causes it to degrade and become ineffective quickly).

I have a sample of the DNA serum but haven't tried it yet. I also have a sample of the pumpkin peel but haven't tried that yet either.

My DH loves their retinol product and their vitamin C (it replaced the Dr. Gross ferulic acid + retinol serum he was using).

I really like the company and am very impressed with the results I am getting from their vitamin C serum. I am very happy that I finally found one I can use without issues because I really think vitamin C is one of the few products that should be in everyone's skincare routine to help prevent and repair sun damage.
