Back to the Ciate Blush Pop - looked at it on Sephora and I think I would have chosen the same color you did! It looks like the most beautiful, I want to say blended rose color - not too bright or too light or too pink or too brown. I'll have to stop in at our JCPenny's store and take a look.

I too have had to go to a cream type blush and am really happy with what I have, but I am always looking for that "just right" one!

What do you apply it with?

Thanks for letting us know about this - it's a brand I'm not familiar with.

Lannie-- that brand just released face cosmetics very, very recently. They were exclusively nail products until now. HTH!

Thank you for the blush recommendation! I'm also doing better with the cream formulations with my normal to dry skin. I received this review not long ago.

When I do use a powder of any kind (bronzer, blush, etc) I always mist my skin afterwards. It makes a huge difference in how my skin and makeup look and also how well my m/u wears. Just got a new mist by Smashbox that can also be used as a primer. I really like how effective it is hydrating my very dry skin. It comes in a really sizable amount, as compared to many other hydrating type mists. I like creams but never feel that they last as well on my skin. What often works great for me is layering a powder on top of a cream. Learned that at a Trish McEvoy counter back in the 90's and they would carry the same shades in both a cream and powder version. Not all that many brands do.

This does look like a lovely blush and the packaging is pretty neat. May have to check it out as I am a huge blush nut anyway. The ombre blush by IT also looks appealing. Temptations, temptations .........................

Thanks for sharing - always fun to learn about new brands.

Lannie..........I had never heard of this brand either until a salesperson recommended their blush. I swipe it across my cheeks from the "pop packaging" and then use my fingers to blend. First time I have ever had luck using my fingers to blend anything! {#emotions_dlg.laugh} When I've tried creme blushes before, they never blended well without using a makeup sponge. However this one blends wonderfully with just my fingers. I'm at work by 6:00 a.m. and don't get home until 4:00 p.m. And when I get home.......I can still see the blush on my cheeks! But then again, I don't touch my face much, if at all, during the day. So I'm assuming the staying power might depend on how much you touch your face, i.e., rest face on hands, etc., during the day.

I just tried Smashbox's new LA Lights. It's a lip & cheek stain. The color is Beverly Hills blush. It's a coral/pink.

I'm preferring cream blush these days too. That color looks a little too dark for me, I prefer a pinkier ( like my new word?) blush. Or does this not look as dark when applied?

I really do like it. It's just the right flush of color. I want to get a few more.
