I have gone back and forth as to whether I like WEN or not. My latest try has been the Fig, which is very nice.

I decided to replicate the demonstration Chaz does on newly colored hair. I used WEN Fig for the first shampoo after my color was done. I waited more than 24 hours to shampoo. I had a lot of color go down the drain.

Then this month, I used Redken Color Extend shampoo and conditioner for the first shampoo after coloring. I again waited over 24 hours. I had very little color go down the drain.

At least for me, WEN did not preserve color at all.
