I just purchased a BaByliss on ebay. Ultra lightweight, 6 settings, cold shot, won't frizz hair or damage it, etc. It's the Babyliss Pro TT 5000. I had a T3 and you don't need to spend that much. I would never spend that much again on a hair dryer. I also own the Babyliss travel dryer which is amazing.

KatCat that looks like a great dryer and the price is good but I saw in the reviews on Amazon where someone listed that some of the Babyliss dryers have been recalled. I think I googled Babyliss TT recall and found the article listing the models that have been recalled.

Thank goodness it's not my model or my travel dryer. Never had any problems.

I really like the Remington Silk Ceramic Ionic Pro dryer. Dries quickly, hair is soft and has several heat settings.

How long is long? I had a T3 that quit every 6-9 months. Fortunately I had a 4 year warranty & back it went every 6-9 months. I even upgraded to the ""Professional"" model. Same experience. Didn't last more than 6-9 months!

Skylands, It is very disappointing to read this. Even the inexpensive hair dryers that I have used usually last for a few years.

Yes, I've used the drug store, $30 models & don't like them at all. While they do last a long time, they frizz or fry my hair. Also they R so heavy & tire my arm outSmiley Sad

T3 does a great blow out! No frizz, straight, shiny blow out, & it is very light weight. I have very thick, heavy hair. If U have thin, light hair, it might last longer. But, I wouldn't invest in a T3 if I had thin, light hair.

There is no way I'd pay that kind of money for a dryer that only lasts 6-9 months.

I have dryers from drugstores or beauty supply stores that didn't even cost me $20.00 and I've never worn them out. I have never had a dryer break. I end up tossing them to upgrade to something better.

It has everything I need including various settings and it doesn't fry my hair at all and it's light weight.

I bought an Amika Power Cloud Repair and Smooth and it's the best dryer I have ever owned. It is heavy though. I was lucky enough to get it for $99. I see now on HSN they are listed at $160 and sold out. Before that I used the T3 for years.

Ulta's BF ad has a holiday T-3 as one of their specials. I want to say it was $79.
