@Franklinbell I do know about GoodRX, hydroquinone cream isn't a covered medication, it's considered as a cosmetic product. Mark Cuban has a website that offers better drug costs than GoodRX, on certain drugs.

What do you use for skincare routines?

Oh, I see this is an older thread.  You probably have your answer.

@monicakm nope still have extremely oily skin! I use Philosophy cleanser, exfoliate 3 times a week, use a serum, night cream, and eye cream. I'm not brand loyal, I like to try different products.

@Jordan2

I love serums. I bought one last year having no idea what BHA's were. Well, it certainly dried out my already dry skin. So I gave it to my hair stylist. She said she used it before her foundation/powder app and it really helped control oil.

I am 73 and still have oily skin.  I don't think it is as bad as it was when younger but still quite oily..  I could wash my face in dawn dish detergent or oil cleanser or  balm or everything in between and the oil still gushes.  I have spent so munch money on every cosmetic to mattify and it works for an hour or two and then the oil comes. The only thing you can do is used blotters for the oil..  Adding more powder makes for a mess.  All that talk about normalizing skin and not using harsh cleansers to make it more oily much be coming from people who do not have oily skin because the oil comes no matter what you do....

@Jordan2 - the Philosophy cleanser may be contributing to your problem.  When I got more serious about skincare, and not knowing anything, I started with that line.  They made my skin worse - congested pores, oily, etc. I stuck with them for awhile thinking my skin was purging, but it never improved and was worse than my lackadaisical skincare if the past.  You might try adding a good niacinamide serum to cut down on sebum production.
