Does anyone else have this problem? I noticed that my eyebrows are getting less and less. I usually have no problem filling them in with eyebrow pencil but now I can hardly see them to fill them in. I wonder what is causing this.

For me, my brows are all kinds of wonky---wild growing hairs, some are super black and thick, and spaces missing hair---but I went thru chemo 13 years ago so lost all my hair--it all grew back but is not the same as pre cancer. am sure age has alot to do with it too. Have no real explanation tho---Mine have always been dark enough to see ---got very skilled at drawing them in tho---otherwise I looked like a ghost--pale with only eyes showing thru!!There are stencils you can use --I used those until I got the feel for where my brows should be.

It seems like they sink to your chin.
My eyebrows have thinned over the years but having black hair they are still looking pretty good for being old. Getting them threaded actually makes them look thicker because the ladies are such artists they know what to do to shape them.

Definitely NO..."Andy Rooney" brows run in my family...and I have to pluck every day of the week(!!!)

I inherited my dad's brows: wild hairs, very thick, growing in a straight line " one long brow. "
At 80, they have been becoming sparser...sometimes a slight empty spot and the tails becoming thinner and thinner. After years of nightly tweezing, I got them relatively normal looking.
However, I find pencils to have an off black color: some what grey, somewhat blue. I have taken to use a Stila marker with light touches and quickly using the little brush to smooth out the color. Seems to stay on longer than any pencil.
I think the missing hairs have relocated to the chin area !!!

@lovesallanimalsI can relate. As I got older my eyebrows are so thin and sparse, you can barely see them.
I do like Westmore beauty lasting effects eyebrow gel. I use that with a spoolie brush.
My brows need more than an eye pencil.

Yeah, the outer third of my brows have disappeared. Sigh. Just another thing to fix. I pencil them in. Have gotten pretty good at it since I've been doing it so long.

Yes, that aging thing
As we age the hair production slows
eyelashes eyebrows and even leg
But Boy those whiskers sure creep in!
Would love to ****** those in the bud as well

I've never pencilled in my brows before but, now that I've gotten older, they're sparcer and grayer so I definitely need to work on them. They always look strange when I try. My eyelashes have done the same, lots of gray hairs there. I should've started practicing long ago when I could see better!
