Most you’ve paid for parfum?

I’m in love with Dolce and Gabbana The Only One, but I’m not in love with price! On Amazon, I could get the 3 oz size for about $120 and that’s cheaper than any other place, so I’m on the fence. Of course, I don’t “need” it; it’s just a “want.” (Nobody actually needs parfum, right? Haha) What’s the most you’ve ever paid for parfum?

110.00 and it almost killed me, but I love Aerins Waterlily Sun, so I buy it myself for my birthday. I have wasted money on scent that I ended up not liking, but this one I use up.

If you love it and use it up....then it was a good purchase for you!  I’ve never smelled it, but the lovely name makes it SOUND beautiful!

@Goldengate8361

Hi Goldengate - SFnative here,

Fear not!!!  I discovered "RueLaLa" about 3 months ago and just about 8 days ago they had a sale on Dolce and Gabbana Parfum!!!  They are all about sales. I purchased a parfum I hadn't purchased in absolute ages, because the price was so right - Obsession in a huge bottle, that will last forever.  (RueLaLa offers only items from high end designers/manufacturers - LOVE!)

I've been bad and have made maybe 6 additional purchases, not all of them expensive items (2 for the kitchen), but did order a German watch I've wanted for ages.  Saw it in a watch store in that huge Italian casino in Vegas 8 years ago, tried it on and melted!  It was gorgeous!  Now, my husband has 4 very high end watches all gifted to him by me, but I've never had one.  So...my eyes popped out of my head a week ago, when I saw this watch on sale on RueLaLa at 75% off.  They had one left.  Did I purchase it?  You bet it did!  LOL!

Check out RueLaLa!  I just know that you'll eventually be able to find that parfum.

~Happy Shopping!

Back when "Opium" was first released, fell in love with it.  Purchased the largest I could.  Was over $150 at Nordstrom.  Still love it.

@sfnative Interesting you should mention that site. I used to buy there several years ago....don’t really know why I stopped, but you inspired me to give it a try again. Thanks!

1/4 oz $200-$250. Usually, my husband gets me larger size. I’d have to go check the mls, but I think it runs double or tripe that. I have never bought the larger size for myself.

This is my favorite and I was able to get it on sale for $78 (normally $109)..and since I don't wear it every day it lasts for a long time.
