My husband LOVES Red Door. I used to wear it when we were dating. Problem is, 20+ years later, the smell nauseates me.

I like Origins scents- they made a niceginger perfume. Can't recall the name. Spring Fever sounds nice too!

Tova's Signature.  I wore it for years and got so many compliments.  Then either the fragrance changed or my body chemistry changed and it never smelled the same so stopped wearing it.  If I wear any fragrance now it's usually B&BW Moonlight Path.

Regarding Jo Malone scents, they are cologne strength, which is the reason for such poor longevity. Personally, I think they are priced at higher-end EDP strength.

My all time favorite is CHRYSTAL by Chanel. However, I haven't had it for a long time.

I also like the single note fragrances from Crabtree & Evelyn. Currently using Lily of the Valley.

Here are the fragrances that get me compliments all the time.

1.  L'Heure Magique - Eau de Parfum

2.  Almond  Coconut milk - toilette - need to wear body butter with it.

3.  Pomengranate Noir - toilette

Recently purchased the rollerball in a Vie est belle but you only need one swipe as it is a strong, sweet scent but pretty.  I had two Trish McEvoy scents but never received any compliments so I won't buy again.  Love Jo Malone scents but very weak because they are toilettes and now they have the nerve to raise the price.

La vie est belle for me, gets the most compliments from strangers and friends. Flowerbomb too, but not as frequently as LVEB. But my chemistry works with these sweet patchouli fragrances that are popular now.

For me it is always Inner Grace (whats left of it) and Pure Grace. These are my go toos. I word Design (Paul Sebastion) for many years and it still smells heavenly. My all time favorite is called Rush by Gucci but it is stronger than all of these. I also wear Coco Mademosiele, Amariage, and Cashmere Mist.
