Most Expensive Makeup/Skincare Brands You Would Like to Try

Most Expensive makeup you  haven't tried but would like to (if it wasn't so expensive)

Makeup would be Chantecaille

Skincare SKII or La Paririe

Honorable Mention just because of the packaging Smiley Happy

Erno Laszlo. About 40 years ago, I bought a starter kit which cost me about $150. Loved it! But a bar of soap at the time was over $30! I went back to Clinique and have used it ever since! I'm 67 years old and have great skin.

@mare54   I've never heard of Erno Laszlo so I ''googled'' it and found you can buy some of their products at Walmart for under $30 ...with great reviews too !

@monicakm   Sorry, but I really don't think expensive makeup has ever been my choice. Armani, Tom Ford and Le Mer are over hyped. I've tried the foundations and nothing special. The same w/ the shadows and lipsticks. Those are the most costly ones I've tried. The lines that cost more, I'd stay away from. The TF shadows have alot of fallout.

***My skincare costs a lot.  For me, I'd rather spend my money there.

@Shanus

Well I'll never know.  I did purchase an Armani foundation.  It's nothing special.  I like my Fenty and Lancome as much if not more.

@monicakm   I receive many samples and/or promotional gifts to try products. I just wouldn't purchase the higher priced items I've tried. I think it's a matter of status to pull out a expensive lipstick or compact and that's just not me.

The only thing I wanted to pull out of my purse (at say a restaurant) was my Huda Beauty glittery lip balm...and it broke! LOL

It was the light peach colored one in the back

OMG, Huda Beauty just released new lip products and they're encrusted with diamonds | Cosmopolitan Middle East

That exquisite jar of cream in my first post is a cool $345 for one ounce!

I guess wisdom comes with age (and for that I'm thankful!).

It's not about names, price, or packaging.

It's about ingredients.

Then I choose from there.

@monicakm If you ever try Chantecaille Future Skin foundation you will be set for life. It is my very favorite. I use the one in the jar, but I always use a paddle when getting makeup from the jar to avoid contamination and possible changes resulting from exposure to hands/skin. It lasts a long time so it is not quite as pricey as it seems.
