Morgen Schick Defense Extract creme

I've been using this AA creme for months. It's my fave product of hers but I'm not sure if I should use it as the last step as she said, or the last step before my sunscreen. She doesn't use a sunscreen so she didn't really say. Any help is appreciated.

From the "Usage Tab" for this product:  In the morning, apply extract as the last product in your routine, following with SPF protection (not included) if needed; in the evening, apply as the last product
