You might remember that my first Tria didn't have any heat after the first week. The company (Tria, not Q) was great, and exchanged it. Day 1 with the new machine was HOT. It cooled off quickly, and while more powerful than the original, by far, I haven't been convinced that it's actually doing anything.

Well, last night, when I took the unit out of the charging cradle, it slipped out of my hand. I caught it (phew!), but it must have been jarred a little. When I used it, I FELT it! It was hot, and I was red! This was similar to the first night. I'm thinking that the box was jostled in the shipment, similar to the jostling when I caught it last night, and that something shifts inside the unit to cause it to work differently. I really don't know.

I honestly don't know what is normal for these machines, and what is not. I don't know if it's more effective when it's really hot, or just damaging to my skin. Is it effective when it has minimal heat?

I really want to love this item, and see great results, but it's probably going to be returned.
