Andalou has an untinted spf 30 with 20 % zinc. I saw it on iherb. I'm using the CC cream and its really nice. I would think the untinted would be nice too.

I'm looking at that very one. I was hoping someone had experience with it. Thank you for your brand endorsement. I wonder if I can get it on Amazon? Must check.

Where are you and myshell finding that? Help! iherb is one of those sites that forces me onto their mobile platform, though (I'm on my iPad) and I always have trouble navigating those, even though they're supposed to be easier for mobile devices. Maybe that's the problem.

Iherb, drugstore.com, vitacost, etc all carry. Locally Whole Foods carries it too.

Thank you all for your suggestions!

Yes, MarenSeattle, I'm looking for closer to that 20% zinc oxide. It seems the "moisturizers" have very low % of zinc while the "sunscreens" are too drying. I was looking into the Devita products then saw they had a low rating on Paula's site, not that this would stop me from trying them. I think we're both looking for the holy grail.

Yup, the skin cancer story seemed to top all of the national papers today. I can't believe how many have the "it won't happen to me" attitude. I really believe it's time for a huge push with skin cancer similar to the breast cancer campaigns!

You can get little sample tubes of Suntegrity for a couple of bucks -- suntegrityskincare.com. It is NOT drying, believe me. :-) I just prefer something less shiny (and cheaper would be great, too) although under my Supergoop it's just fine. You might just love it -- lots of people do.

Maren I actually posted this to Myshell but meant to quote YOUR post, lol. So here it is again:

I can't believe you paid $50 for the suntegrity! The prices must have went up alot because there is no way I paid that much for it probably a year ago now. I tried to look up how much I paid but can't find the email but I am sure it was only about $20, no more than $25. Do you think it went up double in just a year? That seems crazy

It's $45 now (plus the S&H and almost 10% WA State tax). I swear the first time I got it the price was $35 -- maybe a year and a half ago?

You know, they have ones for the body that are around $25 -- maybe that's what you got? I got the one for the face.

No, I got the one for face. It used to be called Suntegrity baby but I don't think that is the name of it anymore because awhile back they went through a name change and renamed some of them. I can't use it on my face but I use it on my neck and body. It just stings my face a little, which is crazy because it is suppose to be gentle enough for a baby. I tried the tinted one too and same thing fortunately that was only a sample so I didn't waste my money.

Re: Moisturizer with Physical Sunscreen

I did not know that the Supergoop was a physical sunscreen.

Also, check out Skinceuticals. There's a tinted and untinted.

Thanks! I wonder how that compares to the facial formula. If I like the one I'm getting (eBay) I'll try that next time. (It was $12.50 on ebay, though, so that's hard to beat.)

There is really no difference, I've been using them both for years & in fact introduced many a lady on this board to Devita products.

not all supergoop is physical- some of their products have both and I think there are some that have chemical only (unless that has changed).

It only has three ingredients and she feels that is all you should use on your face. She said it may take a while to work in due to the zinc but she feels its worth it. Good luck! Ps...it's SPF 60+ and zinc oxide is 4.7%

Just an FYI: It has two active ingredients (zinc oxide and titanium oxide) and a long list of inactive ingredients.

I was thinking this same thing, definitely more than 3 ingredients in there. Here is the complete ingredients for those that are interested:

Yes, there would have to be more than three ingredients. I don't want the poster to think that I was in any way criticizing the product because I wasn't. I happen to use a sunscreen with a similarly long list.

Well thank you -- you're probably one of the ones who influenced me to give it a try. It's been shipped and I should get it in a few days. I'm looking forward to it!

Now that you mention it, I remember reading a review where the reviewer said she used the Baby which she felt was identical to the facial stuff, sans the fragrance. I'd forgotten that. I like the idea of using it on my neck even if I don't on my face, so maybe I'll go check that out -- thanks for the reminder!! Ironically, I LOVE the fragrance of the face formula. :-)

EDIT: They're not calling it Unscented Sunscreen for Body (formerly called Baby) -- $24 for 3 oz, the face formula is $45 for 1.7 oz! Thanks again!

And attention to MYSHELL, KATLUVR and F1WILD -- this might be a viable option!
