Hi, sorry if this is a silly question, but is it Ok to mix oils? I just purchased a few oils from the same skincare line and was wondering if mixing them would cause them to be less effective? Specifically mixing marula with rose hips seed oil, or mixing marula oil with tamanu oil?
Thanks for any insight.

Serena, I'm just a novice, but oils act as emollients, protecting and nourishing our skin, and I do not think mixing them affects their performance in any way. I mix 2 or 3 all the time.
What I do not mix is vitamin C. I always put that on seperately. I do not mix AHAs, and I do not mix retinol.

Yes you can mix them. My standard mix is argan oil, jojoba oil and sweet almond oil.

Thank you. I ordered some oils from shea terra organics. I am beside myself with excitement. I know that they do have oils on their website that are a combination of a few, but with my inexperienced self, I somehow feel that I will take all the goodness and benefits out of them just by opening the bottle.
I appreciate your response. I am going to go for it.
